Choose what you need.
Before scent, decide what should change. Calm. Connection. Comfort. Celebration. Reflection. The feeling gives the ritual somewhere to go.
THE RITUAL
Duende is not asking a candle to fix your life. That would be a heroic amount of responsibility for wax. The ritual is smaller: choose the feeling, change the room and notice the moment you are already in.
Before scent, decide what should change. Calm. Connection. Comfort. Celebration. Reflection. The feeling gives the ritual somewhere to go.
Lower the noise around the moment. Put the candle somewhere safe, follow its supplied care instructions and let the light and scent mark a different pace.
The point is not productivity disguised as self-care. Notice the room. Finish the conversation. Sit with the person. Give yourself the few minutes you were going to give away anyway.
A good ritual should leave something after the flame is gone: a softer room, a memory, a message received properly or simply the sense that the evening belonged to you for a while.
SELF-LOVE WITHOUT PERFORMANCE
The self-love side of Duende is not another checklist. Some nights the ritual can be as small as lighting something intentionally, putting the phone down and letting the room ask nothing from you for a while.
Find what you needTHE GIFT BECOMES A MOMENT
A Duende gift should not end when the packaging opens. The message, product, scent direction and eventual digital ritual should work together so the recipient understands the intention before the candle has even filled the room.
Build the intentionCARE MATTERS
Final burn, wick, placement and care guidance will be based on the manufactured Duende product and supplied with it. Always follow the safety instructions that accompany the candle and never leave a burning candle unattended.
START WHERE YOU ARE
Start with how you want your own room or evening to feel. Duende will guide the direction from there.
